The Perfect Cookie
I’m looking for the perfect oatmeal cookie. I’ve tried the Betty Crocker version, with white sugar and flour and lots of butter (good but so sinful – not something you can give your child for a snack and feel good about). I’ve tried the healthy version, with only whole wheat pastry flour and molasses (fairly flavorless and hard as rocks).
So I’m working on my own version, starting somewhere in between, with brown sugar and molasses, oat bran and white flour. I’m planning to work towards healthy as far as I can go and still want to eat them! I’ll keep you all posted on my progress…
